Coronavirus Statement as of 19th March 2020
Here at Maryport Marina, we are following the latest guidance from the government in response to the coronavirus outbreak, it has been made clear non-essential travel and social contact should be minimised, therefore we are taking precautionary measures to minimise the risk. Whilst some of the measures may be disappointing or be an inconvenience for some, the safety of berth holders, visitors and staff must be our top priority.
One of the measures we have taken, is to increase the cleaning of high-risk areas, such as handles, the reception desk, card machines and our toilet facilities. Whilst this is an important measure, we would appreciate if you could help by ensuring you wash your hands regularly when onsite.
We have cancelled the opening of our new café, and cancelled our event on 11th April, where we planned to welcome new and existing berth holders to our café for the opening of the new sailing season. We apologies for any disappointment this may cause.
From midday, on Friday 20th March, we will not take any cash for the payment of goods and services, we will continue to accept Card payments (In reception, over the phone or by our new payment portal online at www.maryportmarina.com/pay.) Where these payment methods are not suitable, we will be offering our customers a credit account where they can charge goods and services until they are able to make payment.
Maryport Harbour & Marina is dedicated to providing our berth holders and visitors the service they deserve and are used to. Whilst this virus may impact on our services, we endeavour to ensure that we keep our customers informed about any changes we make.
